 |
Welcome to the Central Devon Conservatives One Tonne Green Challenge. We believe that one of the most serious issues facing us today is the threat from global warming. Greenhouse gases (e.g. carbon dioxide) are causing global warming and threatening our planet. So we need to do what we can to reduce these emissions. The good news is that we can all play our part and that cutting our carbon emissions doesn’t mean sacrificing everything. There are small changes each of us can undertake which collectively will add up to making a big difference. This page captures the information conveyed on our telephone advice line (01392 690013) and includes our interview with Greg Barker, Conservative Shadow Minister for the Environment, information on the actions you can take to help as well as providing details on local action groups and other relevant web sites.
